Capstone Project: UX Redesign of Calgary 311 App — Redesigned the City of Calgary’s 311 mobile app to improve transparency, communication, and civic engagement. Conducted heuristic evaluations, user interviews, journey mapping, and A/B testing to identify pain points such as lack of feedback, confusing navigation, and cognitive dissonance between app status and real-world outcomes. Proposed and prototyped solutions including real-time request tracking, a clearer submission process, a community page, and private communication channels. Final design focused on restructuring information flows to build trust, reduce user frustration, and increase citizen participation in civic services.
